Staff Support

Measure K Staff Support helps to fund staff and admin costs related to administration of the Affordable Housing Fund.

Support and Technical Assistance Services

Agency: Department of Housing

Home for All promotes housing for all income levels and ages across San Mateo County. Measure K funds support programs including: 21 Elements for city housing elements and RHNA goals; Faith Community Housing Liaison to help congregations develop affordable housing; partnerships with HIP Housing for permanent placements; start-up funding for an ADU nonprofit; and countywide trainings for officials and stakeholders on emerging housing trends and solutions.

Emergency Preparedness

Disaster Prep Workshop

Agency: Department of Housing

This funding has been provided to Climate Resilient Communities (CRC). CRC will improve the climate resilience and health/safety of up to 18 low-income, owner-occupied homes in the County per year. CRC will also increase disaster preparedness in frontline communities via four (4) emergency preparedness workshops per year and via hands-on assistance to communities of color facing climate challenges within the County.

Local Housing Subsidy Program (Vouchers)

This program provides rental subsidy assistance to formerly unhoused and extremely low-income households that reside in County-sponsored housing development.

Pre To Three – Behavioral Health

Agency: County Health

Offers assessments, therapy, case management, and services to children aged 0-5 and their families.

Home Visit Expansion – First Time Parents

Agency: County Health

Expands the Nurse-Family Partnership program, supporting first-time mothers and their partners in preparing for childbirth and building confidence as first-time parents, improving the health and socio-economic outcomes for parent and child.

Pre to Three – Family Health Services

Agency: County Health

Refers eligible, underserved or disenfranchised families to evidence-based home visiting programs, which provide education and support to parents and caregivers regarding parenting, infant attachment and bonding, and links families to medical, dental and other services as necessary.

Youth Outpatient Case Management

Agency: County Health

This funding supports clinicians at Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) clinics who provide youth outpatient services such as individual, group, and family therapy.

The Integrated Medication Assisted Treatment program offers vital addiction and harm reduction services for those with addiction challenges, including outreach, assessment, and much more.

Design a plan to advance programs and activities that increase social connectedness and wellness through accessible educational, health and wellness, and social and recreational opportunities for older adults and adults with disabilities in San Mateo County.

Provides outreach and establishes events for Special Olympics in the county for youth and young adults with disabilities.
